Several tools support integration with Excel. These tools typically show two choices


Export data to Excel

Several tools such as markers, deviation, measurement, floor flatness, clash detection export their data to excel. The Excel data template is picked up from the directory of BloomCE distribution - typically c:\Program Files\BloomCE. As an advanced usage, users can modify this template for their use. However, they are recommended to discuss with BloomCE support to be successful in this effort.

Import data from Excel

Data, specifically coordinate data and associated meta data, can be imported from Excel using a common file structure in .csv format.

One example is a survey control network of points used for registration. Another example would be a series of coordinates representing the location of critical points that are them measured against the point cloud.
